What are Gardens Need planters made of?
Most of our planters, pots and vases are made from high-grade, UV-resistant plastic that is lightweight, weather-friendly and does not crack easily like ceramic or clay. Select ranges use roto-moulded plastic, marble-look finishes and melamine for a premium look.
Are your pots suitable for indoor and outdoor use?
Yes. Our UV-resistant planters are designed for both indoor and outdoor use — they handle sun, rain and temperature changes without fading quickly, making them ideal for balconies, terraces, gardens, living rooms and offices.
Do the planters come with drainage holes and trays?
Many of our planters include drainage holes and a matching bottom tray to protect your floors and furniture. The product title and description mention "With Tray" where a saucer is included. Self-watering planters use a built-in reservoir instead of open drainage.
What sizes are available?
We stock pots and planters from around 5 inches up to 24 inches, plus multi-packs (Set of 2, 4, 5 and more) and watering cans from 1.7 litre to 10 litre — so you can match everything from small succulents to large outdoor plants.
Choosing the Right Pot
How do I choose the right pot size for my plant?
As a general rule, pick a pot that is 1–2 inches wider than the current root ball for small plants, and 2–4 inches wider for larger plants. This gives roots room to grow without holding excess water. When repotting, move up one size at a time.
Are your Tulsi pots suitable for a temple corner or balcony?
Yes. Our marble-look Tulsi pots (Tulsi gamla) are made for home temples, balconies and garden corners. They are lightweight, weather-friendly and available in white and grey marble finishes for an elegant, sacred look.
What is a self-watering planter and how does it work?
A self-watering planter has a built-in water reservoir at the base. The soil draws up water as the plant needs it, so you can go several days between watering — perfect for busy homes, offices and travellers.
