1976
Founded by Harvinder Malhotra as Malhotra Plastic in a small factory near Sadar Bazar, Delhi. Started with just four hand-molded machines producing plastic pots and toys.
1998 - 2000
Siddharth Malhotra and Gautam Malhotra joined, strengthening production and expanding sales & marketing. The idea of lightweight plastic pots was born, solving the problem of heavy cement planters.
2013
Bhawna Malhotra joined, boosting growth and market expansion through enhanced marketing strategies.
2015
Rebranded to Gardens Need. Built a structured distribution network and introduced MRP-based pricing. Launched innovative products like railing pots, hook pots, vertical gardens, and stack-a-pots.
2022
Welcomed Raveena Tandon as brand ambassador. Achieved leadership as India’s No.1 plastic pot manufacturer with advanced production technologies.
